Test Results
We ask all patients to phone the practice between 1.30pm and 4pm for their results.
Test results have to be checked by the doctor - you may be advised when to telephone the surgery to receive any test results, for blood test results this is generally between 5 to 7 days after the test was taken.
Results for X-rays, scans etc can take 2 or 3 weeks before they are received at the surgery.
Please note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

The NHS app
Test results can also be obtained via the NHS app.
To request this please bring your ID along to the practice and complete an Online Access form.
Your identity will be verified and the form passed to the admin team to process and send the set up codes to you via email
Specimen bottles
If you are requested by a clinician to bring in a specimen, please ensure this is not in a glass bottle as we will be unable to process the specimen.
Please ensure you seal the specimen in a clean plastic bag before handing it over to the Care Navigator.
