The Hildenborough & Tonbridge Medical Group

We are a large practice (serving a population of over 16,000 patients) in Hildenborough, Tonbridge and the surrounding villages. Our main Medical Centres are located in Hildenborough and at Trenchwood in Tonbridge, with branch surgeries in Weald and Leigh.  Our aim is to provide, by an effective team approach, the highest quality of progressive family health care, in a happy and compassionate environment.

Weald and Leigh Surgery Cancellations: 

Leigh:  November: Mon 17th, Fri 21st.  Dec:  Mon 1st, Wed 3rd.
A Flu Clinic will be held at Leigh on Friday 7th November at 1.30pm.

Weald:  November:  Mon 10th, Fri 14th,Fri 28th.  Dec: Wed 3rd, Fri 12th.

Summary Care Record:

Summary Care Record (SCR) is an electronic record of important information about your health.  It will contain information about the medicines you take, your allergies and any bad reactions you have had to medicines. HTMG is planning to upload your Summary Care Record within the first three months of 2015 so that it is available to other health professionals.  You will be able to access your own Summary Care Record via the HTMG website in the same way that you can book online appointments. For futher information click here: Summary Care Record

Flu Vaccinations:

Flu vaccination clinics are now available - please phone to book an appointment or ask you GP when attending an appointment. This is only available for those patients who are eligible for the free NHS vaccination, for more information on who can get the free vaccination please follow this link:

Also, the annual nasal spray flu vaccine will be available for all children aged 2, 3 and 4 years old (as at 1/9/14). If your child is eligible you will receive a letter from the practice.  For further information click here.

Shingles Vaccination

This year the shingles vaccination is being targeted only for patients who were aged 70, 78 or 79 years old as of 1st September 2014 and will be suppled to the practice in batches over the year.  Eligible patients will receive an invitation to attend. 

Online Appointments

We are pleased to announce that the Hildenborough & Tonbridge Medical Group is now offering the facility for patients to book their doctor appointments online using Vision Online Services (VOS).If you would like to manage your appointments online you will need to register for the service.  Please either download the form here (or collect from the surgery) and give the completed form to one of our reception team so that your registration can be  processed.  A letter will be given to you by our receptionist either while you wait or if the staff are very busy you will be advised when to collect the letter. This letter will give details of the steps to follow in order to create your online account.  Download: VOS Registration Form

Protected Learning Time

The practice will be closed for up to 6 afternoons each year to allow for in-house or locally-arranged training events. These dates have been arranged for all West Kent practices by the local Clinical Commissioning Group and IC24 to ensure that primary care teams are getting the essential training and development that they need to deliver the best possible service.  Cover is provided by the out of hours service during this time.
