June Oakley
June Oakley RGN is a Specialist Nurse
Practitioner in General Practice Nursing. June trained in
Tunbridge Wells and at King's College Hospital, London. She has diplomas in
community practice nursing and asthma as well as a certificate in
travel health. June has attended courses in
coronary care and family planning as well as training in telephone triage. June
runs asthma, COPD and travel health clinics as well as general
nursing surgeries.
Susan Iliopoulos
Susan Iliopoulos RGN trained at the Royal East
Sussex Hospital and is a Specialist Nurse Practitioner
in General Practice Nursing. She also holds a diploma in
community practice nursing as well as obtaining a diploma
in diabetes from Warwick University and a diploma in anticoagulation
management at Birmingham University. Sue runs the
anticoagulation clinics.
Velma Conboy
Velma Conboy RGN trained at University College Hospital
and Middlesex Hospital. Since qualifying in 1992, she has gained
experienced in general medicine and surgery. Velma undertakes family
planning clinics with Dr Nikky Evans and also runs a young persons
clinic at Trenchwood Medical Centre. Velma also undertakes general
nursing duties at the practice as well as baby immunisations and
travel health. |
Amanda Mawdsley
Amanda Mawdsley RGN holds diplomas in asthma management
and care of respiratory patients. Amanda runs asthma and COPD
clinics as well as general nursing clinics at Trenchwood Medical Centre.
She has training in family planning including implant insertion and
removal, and is a nurse prescriber. Amanda's specialist
clinical interests are in sexual health and young people.
Sarah Holness
Sarah trained in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
Her specialist areas of interest are diabetes, CHD, surgery, minor
illnesses and teaching. Sarah holds diplomas in CHD, diabetes,
operating theatre skills and teaching. Sarah also works for
the out of hours service assisting with the treatment of minor
illnesses.
Zoë Linden
Zoë trained at Oxford Brookes University Hospital and
has worked in general medicine, diabetes and general nursing.
Zoë has a diploma in CHD and trained with the community diabetes
programme. Zoë's specialist areas of interest are baby immunisations,
doppler studies, treatment of leg ulcers and compression therapy. |
Hilary Vale
Hilary Vale RGN qualified in 1986 and has been in Practice Nursing
since 1999. Hilary holds Diplomas in Family Planning and Sexual
Health, Diabetes, Coronary Heart Disease and Mentoring. Hilary runs
General Nursing and Childhood Vaccination clinics at the Practice.
She has a specialist interest in Contraception, Sexual Health and
young people. Hilary also works in Contraception and Sexual Health
Clinics in West Kent. Hilary is trained to insert and remove the
Contraceptive Implant.
Susan Sayell
Susan Sayell RGN trained at Brighton University to Adult
Diploma Level and holds a BSc Hons from Christ Church Canterbury
University in Specialist Practitioner - District Nursing and
Community Practitioner Nurse Prescriber.
Tish Ward
Tish is our health care assistant. She runs
phlebotomy and ECG clinics and provides other support to the nursing
team. |
